    I tend to think we should charge those tourists extra for the thrill ride. And then, ahem, pay them for their medical bills.

    Ha, an interesting thought. But don’t cable cars already cost more than buses and light rails?

    Here’s Muni’s pay schedule. Turns out SFMTA found a way to let locals pay less, assuming you have a fast pass.

    As for paying the medical bills, the city, in my opinion, should cover all costs of all Muni-related injuries. Instead, I’m sure the injured are left to fend for their own bills while these types of cases are tied up in court for years on end. Sad.
