Am at Fillmore and Sutter. First sign for the 22 said 2 minutes. Then 3. Then 2 again. Then 10. Now 8.

Tourists on the F always ask each other this question in bewilderment. Well, not the part about being from another planet (though some of them are). One guy actually got testy with his wife, essentially accusing her of reading it wrong the first time, when she complained about how the arriving time changed. I might have to step into these marital scuffs next time and learn some of them.
