Red Puddle on the 14

Earlier tonight I got on the 14 at Geneva and Mission. The back of the bus was badly tagged and littered (sunflower seed hulls, chicken bones, napkins and such), but this seat was truly something I haven’t seen before. Was it blood? Sure looked like it, but I didn’t feel like investigating.

Holy crap?!?! Or I mean, blood? That looks very much like blood. It’s awesome that you took a picture of it – maybe SFPD will need it later!

I rode the 14 last week and it was one of the more horrible rides I have experienced yet. The bus smelled like stale cigarettes, stale pot, and stale whiskey. Then a bunch of junior high and high school kids got on to the back of the bus and started to verbally fight rather loudly. Matters were not helped by the fact that this bus stops at just about every block.

We need to put “no blood or chicken bones on the seats” on the Muni wish list.

Ugh. That is just not okay. Sometimes I really love MUNI. And then sometimes there are things like this and I decide that it’s so much better for me to just walk everywhere that I need to go!

if that is blood, there sure is a lot of it. if the back of the bus was littered with food items, i suspect that might have been ketchup or BBQ sauce. let’s hope. then again, the 14 is notoriously known to be one of the most violent buses in the system.

Looks more like ink or paint.

Hair dye? looks a little too red to be blood, to me.
Ew. People’s nastiness never ceases to amaze me.
If you wouldn’t do it at home, why is it ok to do it on Muni?
    Sigh.
Hope no one sat in that.
