Hee, I experienced this the other day on my 38 – so, this bus goes to The Fillmore? Yes? Are you sure? Okay, let’s just stand near the exit so that we don’t miss our stop…what street are we at? Fillmore? Is that near The Fillmore? Oh wait, there it is, it says the Fillmore, okay let’s go, we don’t want to miss our stop! Now, how come the door isn’t opening, am I supposed to do something…?

I work near Fisherman’s Wharf. Man, tourists rock some killer fashion. Just now, I saw a 60-ish, round, bald guy sporting a tight T-shirt tucked in (of course) to spandex shorts. He topped (or bottomed?) it off with white tube socks pulled nearly to the knees, and a fancy pack, natch. He also carried two bags and just seemed so damned earnest. I shoulda got a photo.
