The Bandanna Man

Editors note: Muni Diaries contributor Whole Wheat Toast submitted the following Missed Connection, of sorts. Help him unmask this mystery man.

Chances are that you’ve probably seen him before, he’s a guy who sits in Muni bus shelters. His entire body is literally covered in bandannas, and he just sits there.

From my personal experience living in San Francisco, he’s been doing this for the past 10 years — at least.

Have you encountered him before? If you did, have you tried approaching the person before? Have you found his life story?

The only reason I wrote this was pretty much that I’ve been seeing him sitting at bus shelters all over the city for the past 10 years, maybe more.

I’ve wanted to take a photo of him, but because of his creepy nature, you never know what he might do. He might be an insane person, homeless, he might be on the lam, you never know.
