While difficult to disagree, I’d like to point out that the 6 Parnanssus is an electric-only bus, and doesn’t have an “engine” as such – rather an electric motor that only “runs” while the bus is actually moving.

I wish such a policy, or law (however impossible to enforce, a la no phones while driving) were in place for idling cars. Stop that!

You do not have to be so polite about it, policy is that vehicles are to be turned off and not left idle during their layover. Any idling vehicles and their operators should be reported to 311.
