Video of J-Church Track Replacement

Reader Debbie sends a video of the 56-hour work that took place over the weekend. Yesterday, we posted Brian’s photos of the rail replacement at Church and 18th.

As Telstar dubbed it on Twitter, more “infrastructuralist porn” (SFW).

Chemistry nerds: go to 3:40 where they link the rails together with thermite. Doesn’t it seem unsafe that they’re not using any protection while messing with thermite. Oh wait they’re real men, doing manly things.

Hi HOtrk. Sorry you’re having troubles. Muni Diaries HQ tested this video on both Mac and Windows platforms, and it’s working fine for us. Not sure what you mean by “your link was too hard to find,” but here’s a link to the video on YouTube.
