This Friday: Muni Photography Opening Party!

Come party with us this Friday to celebrate the amazing photographers you’ve seen on Muni Diaries! We’ve partnered up with the wonderful Harvey Milk Photo Center for a photo exhibit called “In Transit.”

In celebration of Muni’s centennial, this exhibit will feature gorgeous San Francisco photos that you’ve previously probably only seen on your computer screen. The opening reception this Friday will also feature our new “Rename Your Muni Line” game where you can bestow a new nickname for your line (6-Parnasty, anybody?) on a humongous map, pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey style (no blindfolds, unless you’re so inclined).

The Harvey Milk Photo Center is at the west end of Duboce Park, and a great place for photography-lovers. Hello, 40-person dark room? They have it.

See you this Friday!

  • So bummed I didn’t know about this… was there a call for entries?

  • Sounds fun! I can’t make the opening but hopefully can see it while it’s still up…

Hi Patrick, sorry we missed you in the entries search, but Harvey Milk Photo Center has installed a wall where photographers are encouraged to bring your favorite photos to display. Hope to still see you there! And if you’d like to be featured on Muni Diaries, please do email us your photos any time. We can’t get enough of them! 🙂 — Eugenia
