And now, an adorable puppy on Muni

We’re starting to accept Life Back to Normal around here. You? And how better to ease back into that (and the always unsettling idea of a baseball offseason) than to see an utterly adorable puppy on Muni? This little lass stole Heather’s heart, and she shared it. “I fell in puppy love last night on muni. Wish I could have taken her home with me.” We sympathize, Heather. We sympathize.

Neato: Stylin’ Golden Gate Bridge Clipper Card Now Available

It pays to wait on buying some things, as we can see right here. That’s right, everyone, this is a designer Clipper card. My friend and Muni Diaries Live photog, Kevin, just got this in the mail, and I hate him for it.

Go ahead and lament your boring blue one now.

Anyway, this special Clipper card is on sale now to commemorate the Golden Gate Bridge’s 75th anniversary year. You can get one at the Golden Gate Customer Service Center in the San Rafael Transit Center, or you can buy one online in the Golden Gate Bridge store for $25. It’s considerably more expensive than the blue ones, but we’re talking about the price of fashion (and local history), folks!

Update: The $25 actually includes $18 of pre-paid transit funds! This is a steal, everyone. Now if only it wasn’t a colossal pain in the ass to trade up.

22 Muni and BART Cuties on Refinery29

Stylish commuters got a nod of approval today from fashion mag Refinery29’s street style story. We’ve always known you were a good looking bunch, and now you can see more of your sartorially-inclined fellow riders struttin’ their stuff.

Stylish guys got some love too. (My own favorite is still our Bryan Boy look-alike found on Muni. Remember him?)

May we suggest adding this dapper young lad to the mix? He really knows how to work a houndstooth cap.

My Muni (Mewni) Never Looks Like This

I ask, simply, why the 38-Geary (and its passengers — note the kids in the front piloting this beast) doesn’t look like this always, forever.

This 38/freakishly excited cat-ipede traveled to our eyeballs via Benjamin Seto on Facebook. In a comment, Benjamin notes that he used to take the 38 a lot when he’d hang in the city. I’m jealous that this was his takeaway from that experience, because I can say with certainty that this has never been my takeaway from that experience. Takes an artist’s eye, I s’pose.

Is Muni your muse? ’cause it’s proven time and again to be a good one. Send us a Muni story describing your latest adventure.
