What do we really think about Muni drivers?
I mean, it can’t possibly be this bad, can it? For example, we know for a fact that Driver Doug isn’t like this.

I’ve been riding Muni more or less regularly since 1976. In that period of time I’ve encountered maybe two truly “bad” Muni drivers. On the other hand I’ve seen several Muni drivers do outstanding things to help infirm or confused passengers.
The great majority of Muni drivers do their difficult and too often thankless jobs quite well. Especially given the fact that a large part of their workday consists of dealing with the large number of social maladapts in the passenger population…
