Outtatha way, buddy!

Greg Dewar reports of a car that got smashed on the N tracks out in the Sunset, thereby snarling traffic coming out of the downtown corridor.

We don’t know whose fault it was, so, everyone, cars, peds, Muni operators, be careful out there, eh?

In related news, some incredibly scared girl was riding a scooter on the tracks in front of my inbound J today. We traveled slowly behind her until we got to an intersection where she could exit the J’s Right of Way.

Car’s fault for being on the tracks in the first place. Or did the operator plow the car onto the tracks and hit the other streetcar?

When I lived in the Sunset it would drive me absolutely crazy to see these nonobservant jerks driving on the N Judah tracks, especially in either direction at the stop before 19th Avenue. Have any of you ever seen someone make an illegal left onto Southbound 19th from Irving or Judah and then IMMEDIATELY get pulled over? Oh, its great. And hilarious. There could not be more clear signage.
