Photo diary: Who needs a window on the 14-Mission?

@mhalligan‘s tweet kinda says it all:

Window just fell off the 14. Go Muni!

And go our little 14-Mission does.

I once saw someone jump out through the window on the 28. This would have made it a lot easier.

I was riding the outbound 38 no more than two weeks ago, and like this bus, it too had its window popped out. To say the least, the breeze was a lot more refreshing than those little windows at the top.

On the newer Van Hool AC Transit coaches, if you’re leaning against the window when the bus turns in the opposite direction, sometimes it swings right out (apparently they’re hinged on top). Fun times managing not to fall out!
