No Pants seems to have come and gone without much hoo-ha. There was talk in the days leading up to the annual public prank of authorities citing and even arresting participants. We’re glad no one was left to dry … especially without their pants to keep them warm in the slammer.

@DavidWilton here. The SFPD did give something of a lecture to the organizers at the Westfield on Market and then again at the Levi’s store on Union Square. I heard one tell them they couldn’t be mobbing businesses and blocking stretches of sidewalk or there would be trouble. I don’t there was any trouble, so I suppose everybody behaved.
We can have people fucking in public at various street fairs like Folsom Street Fair but the cops freak out about a few folks showing their underwear. What’s up with this? Weird.
