Original post: KPIX is reporting that “Nineteen people were injured when two San Francisco Municipal Railway buses crashed on Market Street Wednesday morning.”
From KPIX: “The crash was reported at Market and Sixth streets at 11:04 a.m. San Francisco Muni spokesman Paul Rose says the circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately clear. Video shows the F-Line streetcar had apparently rear-ended the 9 San Bruno trolley bus.
A man who works at the Luggage Store Gallery at Market and 6th heard the accident. “It was a really loud boom, said Rich, who declined to use his last name. “I was looking to see if anyone was hurt and people started to get off the bus. By that time ambulances and fire trucks started to show up and police showed up,†he said.
A fire department spokesperson told KPIX that none of the injuries were life-threatening.
