On sale now: Muni toilet seat cover

We are not even a little bit kidding about this. This eBay post features a vintage 1960s toilet seat emblazoned with a vintage Muni logo.

The posting is titled, “Vintage 1960’s San Francisco Muni Solid Wood Toilet Seat for Cable Car Riders,” though I am not sure why cable car riders need a special toilet seat. The item description reads:

“I left my heart in San Francisco” Vintage SF Muni toilet seat with lid / cover. Solid wood construction. Mounting hardware including rubber washers is part of the set.
Shows little wear for its age. Some fading of color in spots. No cracks, checks or splits.
Pretty standard toilet seat dimensions. Seat Measures approx. 15″ x 15 1/2″, 15” x 16 ½” to center line of mounting bolts. Lid 13” x 13 ½”

Would make a great CONVERSATION PIECE.
