The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday discussed the controversial congestion pricing plan, as detailed by the Chronicle Wednesday.
Some really good ideas here, like using toll funds to pay for bus rapid transit, or a free transit zone downtown. A lot of kinks to work out, including designing the zone itself, and how much to charge, but I love that they’re talking about this.
SFist reports of a 16-X bus hitting a cyclist on Great Highway this morning. This comes on the heels of last week’s 10-Townsend collision.

Thousands of people marched to protest proposition 8 over the weekend in San Francisco and beyond. Matt from the marriage equality website, Stop8.org, sent in these pictures of protesters marching alongside our beloved transit system.

Okay, this one is a no-brainer to me, but I’d like to open it up, if anyone feels like talking about it.
Proposition P will be on the ballot (along with 21 other measures) next week (or now, for those of you who are voting early). It proposes changing the rules and responsibilities of the S.F. Transportation Authority Board.
