If Internet, radio, video games, and television suddenly disappeared, we’d still have Muni to entertain us.

For example, the other night, Muni rider Brinn was treated to:

Then it took a turn south. Literally.

What did you overhear on Muni today?

J-Church rider makes nail-clipping look like bathing puppies

crack

This came into our inbox with subject: “I can beat nail clipping on Muni.” You be the judge.

Our submitter, who wishes to remain anonymous, emailed this with, “How about crack smoking on the J-Church at rush hour?”

HEY, LOOK, if real-life SNL skit Rob Ford can smoke crack “maybe once,” maybe this person can smoke crack “maybe once,” too.

Na na na na na na na na Batkids!

batkids

Today, San Francisco Chronicle’s Matier and Ross said it cost SF roughly $105,000 for Batkid to save our fair city. These Batkid assistants probably don’t care, though–nor should they.

Muni rider Sheila shared this on the Muni Diaries Facebook page on the most festive Friday San Francisco ever saw, noting that the kids were “on their way to assist Batkid in SF’s own Batmobile!”

Maybe thinking of Muni Metro as the Batmobile will make your commute more palatable? SFBatkid lessons live on.

Thanks for sharing, Sheila!
