So, the other day, @pmillegan‘s Caltrain was rolling along just fine. Only, someone forgot to shut the door. Weeeeeeeeeeeee!

And here you thought losing the Super Bowl was bad …

    Sadly, Caltrain is limited to 79 MPH due to a federal regulation imposed in 1947.

    It seems to be a pretty common issue on Caltrain. Once I was walking through California station and the train started to depart with the doors open. Thankfully, the conductor noticed this and closed them.
