We still think you’ll find more and better entertainment on Muni, naked acrobats notwithstanding. But Amy points us to Buzzfeed‘s wonderful photo perspective, pitting side-by-side images of your everyday commute on BART against the silent turnstiles and tracks of yesterday.
The BART strike enters Day 2 today, with both sides not talking other than to blame the other.
Also: SF Appeal reports on the throngs of unsympathetic commuters trying their damnedest to get out of San Francisco last evening.

Today marks the first BART worker strike since 1997, as BART employee unions and the BART board failed to reach an agreement in contract negotiations last night. Traffic on the Bay Bridge has been backed up since 6 a.m. today, and AC Transit is packed, says SFGate. You might recall that the labor dispute this time involves wages and contributions to pensions and health insurance.
