Legitimate Guerrilla Advertisement on Muni
It’s still a sluggish economy out there, folks. Perhaps when this job-hunter put their dead-tree ad up on Muni, they knew it would find its way to the Internets. We’re so predictable.

Reader Robert Livingston sent over a cute cartoon by Old Master Q about what you do when the bus isn’t exactly made for your size. I don’t know why Shorty looks so mad at the end. I would be pretty pleased with myself if I were him.

Hard to tell how freezing-effing-cold the mighty Pacific is here in this purty pitcher from taravaltubes.
Update (10 a.m., Friday):
How did the bus end up on the sidewalk Thursday morning? From SFMTAs spokeperson Paul Rose:
The operator lost control of his vehicle and jumped the curb. Four people were taken to the hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries. The SFMTA and SFPD are investigating to determine the specific cause of the accident. The operator has been placed on non-driving status per standard procedure pending completion of the investigation.

Reader Sonia C has a question for y’all pro Muni riders: What’s your idea of a perfect San Francisco afternoon if you have a one-day Muni Passport?
Hi! I came across your awesome blog and wondered if you might post something for me or give me some ideas. I have a Muni Passport that I plan to use this Saturday. I will have about five hours to ride around San Francisco, stop for lunch, maybe walk around. I will start at the Powell Street BART station at 11 a.m. and want to return to the same spot at about 4 p.m. Can you suggest an itinerary that would show me and my friend the city, good and bad?
