A Kiss and Twirl on Stage at Muni Diaries Live

We were totally blown away earlier this month at Muni Diaries Live. And in case you weren’t able to make it, we wanted to share with you.

In January, Elyse sent us one of the sweetest diaries to date: Long story short, she left her wallet on the 33-Stanyan, and when she got it back, she also fell in love.

Fast-forward 10 months, and Mahsa the one-woman band/mime and Elyse delighted the audience at Muni Diaries, to put it mildly. Elyse retold their diary, this time in kill-me cute Dr. Seuss-like rhyme. Then Mahsa covered Prince’s “Kiss” while Elyse broke out into twirl. Mesmerizing and darling and put a bow on it already.

A Match Waiting to Happen on Muni

This is so a Pixar movie. That, or the beginning of a delicious snack of french fries and ketchup. Patricia sent us this pic, noting:

…saw this spud on the N a few days back. I like to imagine he (yes, it’s a he) is riding the Muni rails in search of his long-lost tomato

I love how even this tough-skinned ‘tater won’t sit on Muni without a newspaper barrier.

Now, please keep your eyes peeled (HA!) for the Muni-riding hamburger searching far and wide for its sides.

AT&T Park: Corgi Dressed as BART Train

This one I shall eat with a spoon.

Transit-themed costumes showcasing Bay Area pride are par for the course. Even Muni Diaries has been known to make costumes from time to time.

Last weekend was Dog Days of Summer at AT&T Park. For those of you with patient pets, Dog Days means your canine can join you in watching America’s pastime in scorching 65-degree heat. Sometimes (often), there are costumes. The annual event, this year benefiting the SPCA, proved once again that San Francisco loves dogs, (Giants) baseball, costumes, and dogs+baseball+costumes.

And transit. Let’s not forget transit.

A+ for craftsmanship and awesomeness goes to the corgi repping BART.
