Giants win the World Series, people break Muni windows

We warned/begged you!
The Giants won the World Series, and guess what happened afterward? People climbed on top of Muni and broke a couple of windows, naturally. This is why we can’t have nice things!
Last night, SFMTA suspended bus services “due to safety concerns,” though Muni Metro service on the surface streets and underground was still operational.

Two things…they know they way outnumber the police and they have us to pay for it.
The cable car operator on the car that I rode this morning noted that any non MUNI personnel who climbs to the top of a trolley bus is “crazy”.
They were on the roof of a new hybrid bus dancing on the high voltage battery! Forget the windows… Did the battery get damaged?
Just for fun, replace the word “celebration” with “protest” and replace the word “Giants fans” with “Occupy Wall Street demonstrators”.
How would government, the press, and the public react then?
Well, at least no one burned down a Muni bus.
