We saw one hell of a Muni Haiku Battle Saturday night between columnist Anna Pulley and writer James Nestor. Anna’s haikus were too good for you to miss, so here are her poems from the battle. There’s even a feisty title that digs at opponent James. I always find good trash talking totally irresistible, don’t you?

In what has to be one of the more embarrassing on-the-job goofs, in late January a bus driver in Chile inadvertently aired a porn movie on the onboard video screens on his bus. A 40-second clip of the blunder, complete with some pretty amusing background laughter from passengers of the Santiago to Talagante-bound bus, has since gone viral.
Hmm, we’ve ridden some pretty dirty buses in our time. But not that kind of dirty.

@tomcarmony found some next-level sleeping on Muni Metro, and we wish there was a photo to go with his evocative description and, um, how-to:
I never realized you could just lay down on the floor of a Muni train, across the full width of the car, and just go to sleep. Good to know!
Aisle-horizontal is brave, though arguably more polite than, oh, taking up seats. Where do they think they are, Japanese transit?
