Monday’s post about the MOST ADORABLE kid in the world dressed up as a Muni LRV (and his mom as a Clipper Card) inspired me to dig through our archives for other examples of people dressing up as Muni on purpose. Halloween, y’all!
So, here you go. First up, these dudes are stone-cold brothers in driving Muni. One vest, one jacket. Gotta love.

OMG, we’re totes drowning in cute over here. We came up for air long enough to publish this, from Muni rider Jennifer.
Hey guys, just wanted to share a photo of my 3-year-old son. His love for SFs favorite municipal railway runs deep.
On weekends, we ride the train all around the city. He loves Muni. So naturally for Halloween he wanted to be a Muni train. I made him the T-Third because that’s what mama takes to work every day.
As for me? Sexy nurse? Sexy cop? Nah, not when my main man wants to be the third-busiest light-rail system in the country! Clipper Card it is.
He likes locomotives and steam engines too, but he doesn’t see those as often. You know, city kids. All about that Muni life.

We’re taking a slight detour from our normal Friday afternoon offering of Five Things on Muni today. You’re just such a clever, creative bunch, we couldn’t resist posting our favorite Halloween costumes as seen the day after.
The bears above are a great example. Miley Cyrus lost her dancers, errybody! Below, there’s a bespectacled bunny doctor (?); everyone’s favorite bounty hunter, Boba Fett; the world’s creepiest clown; bat-reptile man (?); creepy human-size chicken; and of course, the 30-Stockton and its driver.

Ah, Halloween. Shutting down the annual party in the Castro did nothing to dampen the spirits of San Francisco adults who dress up this day as though they don’t dress up any of the other 364 days each year. Enjoy!
