My fucking Christ, how bad did this hurt? And seriously, I’ll wait in the fog and get passed by a not-full bus if it means not getting my freaking head stuck in the door.

Rachael has a bizarre story that we’d love to get more info on.
The driver, who was wearing only one shoe by this time — possibly after having lost the shoe as she was sprinting across the street — was screaming at the man and tried several times to spit on him while also trying to kick/punch. She’d go into a little fighting stance here and there before finally swearing and running off back towards her train. The guy she was after tried to board the 29, but the driver didn’t seem to want to take him on.
Rachael says she doesn’t know what prompted the altercation. We’re sure it was quite the scene. Were you there? Can you shed any light on what caused this riffraff? If you’re a Muni driver, have you heard anything about this?

‘Streets of San Francisco’ Photo Show Opens Tonight

Want to see some amazing photographs of our city? Head over to Schroeder’s Restaurant tonight for the opening of Streets of San Francisco, a photo show by Travis Jensen and Josh Sullivan. We know Travis from the photo collective All City, which has brought us some amazing transit photographs on Muni Diaries. And of course, public transportation stars prominently on our streets. You’ll see pictures like the photo in this post. Armed with 35mm film from a rooftop in the Financial District, Travis shot the two cable cars crossing paths on California Street.
At Streets of San Francisco, you’ll find “a diverse mix of urban landscapes, candid street scenes, and street portraiture.” I’m told that Schroeder’s is more than 100 years old and has never had an event like this.
